Privacy & data policy
Threshold is operated by Hayes James. Last updated 8 July 2026.
Property data we display
Threshold displays sold-property information from public open datasets: HM Land Registry Price Paid Data, the Energy Performance of Buildings Register, the ONS Postcode Directory and the UK House Price Index, used under the Open Government Licence and the datasets' own open-data terms. Sold addresses and prices are already public information published by government; Threshold reproduces them with attribution and does not enrich them with information about the individuals living at those addresses.
Our lawful basis for processing this data (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) is legitimate interest: providing factual, already-public market evidence for property professionals. We do not use this data for marketing to, profiling of, or making decisions about the occupants of any property. To query or object to the display of a specific record, contact us and we will review it; source-data corrections should also be directed to HM Land Registry or the EPC Register, who own the underlying records.
Data about you (our users)
When you hold an account we store your name, email address, organisation and authentication data, and — if you subscribe — billing details processed by our payment provider (we never see full card numbers). We use this to provide the service, under contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Sites you save in the app are stored to provide the feature and are not shared.
We use only essential cookies (your login session). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact: hello@hayesjames.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Estimates disclaimer
All predictions, appraisals and sales-rate figures are statistical estimates for site-appraisal purposes. They are not RICS valuations, financial advice or bid recommendations.
